🔥RAGE CATHARSIS (Harnessing the power of your rage for transformative liberation.)
👉🏼In this two hour Live masterclass, we will be exploring the transformative qualities of feminine rage, and how to access the enormity and force of your rage in safe containment, so you can begin to use it as a positive catalyst for powerful, transformative change.
Feminine rage can start revolutions, pioneer a new pathway to liberation, sexual expression and creative expansion, and in many ways, is the ultimate power to harness for freeing and liberating the parts of our feminine expression that have been systemically judged, shamed, frowned upon, and forced into hiding.
Our rage can be an extremely potent and transformative energy which we can use as the fuel and life-force to propel us forward, root down into our spiritual purpose, stand steadfast in our purpose and mission, and manifest more of our desires, or, it can be a destructive, all-encompassing force which feeds off of our vital energy (like a hungry demon), keeps us spiralling in repetitive loops of resentment, bitterness, feelings of injustice and ruminating on the past.
If we create space for our rage to be truly witnessed, without judgement or fear, then we naturally begin to transmute it into an energy which can then be used for productive undertakings such as fighting for a cause that we feel passionate about and expressing pent up creativity.
🔮The most common forms of repressed rage women tend to experience are the following :
👉🏼The collective rage of the feminine : This is suppressed rage that we’ve both inherited from our mother, our grandmother and every other woman that came before them, as well as the collective rage which we are all intimately connected to whether we are aware of it or not. Similarly to how a forest of trees feed and support the growth of each other through the connectively of their roots, women feed and influence one another collectively through their own energetic frequency, and the frequency of ‘feminine rage’ is pretty darn strong on our planet as I’m sure you can imagine.
👉🏼Sexual rage : Sexual rage is in response to having had our boundaries violated (whether this was experienced through inappropriate touch, sexual assault or unwanted attention and remarks) and often these violations are experienced in so many micro or macro moments of our life, that our feelings of rage accumulate into a blurred landscape of endless memories of all the times that we said ‘no’ or didn’t clearly state ‘yes’ and our boundaries were crossed.
👉🏼Oppression rage : Oppression rage is born as a result of anytime we’ve felt that our authentic expression, sexual desire, curiosity, autonomy and sovereignty was forcefully taken from us in some way. We often experience this with parents whom may have feared or disapproved of our authentic expression and sought to curb, tame or ‘discipline’ us by limiting our options for exploring our self-expression, our sexual or dating preferences, our creative inclinations, and anything else that made us feel as if our personal right to choice / to choose who we wished to be as individuals and what we wished to believe, was taken away from us or a birthright and freedom which was somewhat limited. Oppression rage can also be exacerbated by any religious or cultural dogma which we may have been raised with.
👉🏼Race injustice rage : This is an injustice wound which is a result of racial discrimination or oppression we may have experienced through the eduction system, the work-force, and as a whole. For women of colour this may look like having had our accomplishments, intellect or work-ethic undermined as a result of being deemed lesser by white male or female counterparts because of our race, heritage, skin-colour. Racial oppression can also be experienced through partners that deem us as ‘lesser’ than their previous white partners and make subtle remarks that once again diminish our self-worth. Or it can even be experienced through family members whom pass on their own self-hatred and internalised racism and colourism onto us as women, and as young children whom absorb energetic impression, we will certainly feel this subtle or blatant animosity.
👉🏼Systemic / patriarchal rage : This is a result of being born into a white colonial capitalistic culture which favours the man made institutions and teachings above that of the feminine, disregarding the needs and requirements of women, in order to enable them to thrive alongside men in the work place. All of us have experienced systemic rage to one degree or the next, but if you’ve been part of the traditional workforce then you may have experienced injustice through unequal pay, lack of gender equality, demanding treatment at the hands of male employees, or women with internalised misogyny and so forth.
👉🏼Creatively suppressed rage : The title says it all, but creatively suppressed rage is a result of us not having managed to actualise or express parts of our inner world that hold a tremendous amount of creative vitality. Highly creative artists in particular need to creatively out-put on a daily basis in order to purify themselves of emotions which can only truly be processed through the act of creativity. Repressed creativity results in us feeling frustrated, aggressive, moody, withdrawn, emotionally imbalanced and spiritually malnourished. Working with our rage simultaneously impacts the unleashing of formidable creative power.
🔮Themes we will be covering in this masterclass.
✅Unproductive rage VS productive rage.
There is rage which holds us hostage, oppose to being a productive force within our life. Beneath rage often lies a tsunami of unfelt grief. Once we begin to tap into the deep reservoir of formidable rage and give it expression and form through movement, voice, creative expression, we not only liberate an enormity of life-force that is been waiting to unleash, but we also begin liberating our body and being from the weight of grief, shame and guilt which often lies beneath our rage.
✅Protection against Psychic persecution :
Much of our rage is born as a result of having experienced ongoing psychic persecution or subtle gaslighting in response to our spiritual power and gifts. We will be looking at how to create solid boundaries & sharpened intuitive awareness of when you are being met with unwanted external interference, and how to shield and protect yourself against it.
✅Un-freezing, finding safety within the body :
In order to move through the somatic process of accessing deep feelings of rage and harnessing it's power, we must first unfreeze the body from patterns of trauma response which may prevent us from completing the cycle of emotional processing. Our culture relentlessly shames women for the 'darker, more wrathful, uncompromising' side of their fem-expression, gaslights them from speaking up on sexual trauma, and therefore alongside our rage lies the terror of expressing our anger and pain, for fear of being met with punishment or persecution, or simply being told we are 'over-reacting' or look 'unprofessional or 'insane'.
We will be exploring the somatic techniques to help you slowly un-freeze from the fear or terror of freely expressing your rage, so you can begin to transmute it in safe containment.
